We hereby explain how we process personal data (referred to as “data” for short). This applies to both our online presence (website, Facebook, etc.) and other forms of data processing.

Cookies
The Project Region Dresden website does not use cookies that would allow users to be identified or tracked. Cookies are used exclusively for functional purposes, e.g., to save a preference for automatic translation.
If you reached the “Projekt Region Dresden” website via a Google search or through Google ads, Google will store cookies in your browser. Google uses these to collect user data. By initially using Google’s services, you have already given your consent to this.
Newsletter
If you have subscribed to one of our newsletters, you were sent an email to confirm your subscription. In this email, you will find links to unsubscribe from each individual newsletter you have subscribed to.
You can also unsubscribe from the newsletter automatically using the individual link included in every newsletter. You’ll find it at the very bottom of each email.
If, for any reason, neither of these options is possible, you can simply send us an email (from the address you wish to unsubscribe) requesting that we remove your address from the mailing list.
Security
The processed data is stored on our own server and, in some cases, on connected client computers located within our locked premises. The software is kept up to date with the latest security standards through regular updates. Access to the data is regulated by different access rights.
Data Processing on Behalf of the Controller
The Region Dresden project website is hosted by the service provider IONOS. The privacy policy of the data processor IONOS can be found at https://www.ionos.de/terms-gtc/avv/.
Data Transfer to Third Parties
Erlebnisregion Dresden does not disclose any personal data to third parties unless required by law.
Your Rights
You have the right to access the data we have stored about you. You may request an electronic copy of this data. You may request that we complete or correct the data we have stored about you. You may request that we delete this data in part or in full. Unless otherwise required by law, we will comply with your request.
Deletion of Data
The data we have stored about you will be deleted as soon as it is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was collected, provided that no statutory retention obligations prevent its deletion. These obligations may arise primarily under commercial and tax law.
